I am a technologist turned entrepreneur.

Since managing to move a picture of Super Mario from left to right on my Commando 64, I have never lost the satisfaction of using technology to create things.

I moved to the UK and completed my Master's degree in Computer Science at Durham University, and have worked in technology ever since. After holding various management positions for years and working in innovation, I find myself creating more things with technology again, this time with an AI assistant 🤖. I often tinker with my Emacs setup using a bit of Lisp code. I use Org-mode as the single source of truth for organising all my notes and agenda. You could say I live in Emacs and Org-mode.

I completed my Executive MBA study at Imperial College London Business School in 2024, combining my passion for tech disruption and business innovation. I never thought I had a knack for corporate finance and economics, but it turned out I enjoy them much more than I would like to admit, and the marks showed that I pretty good at them too!

I co-founded Waivern in 2025, a compliance-as-outcome company that helps startups and scaleups navigate privacy, AI regulation and cybersecurity, whilst helping compliance teams get the information they need accurately and quickly. Check out our open-source offering on GitHub.
